Hand Knotted Carpets

The beauty and durability of a hand-knotted rug are truly unparalleled. Each piece is crafted knot by knot, resulting in exceptional depth, resilience and a timeless sense of luxury. Our collection includes five distinct qualities: Persian Knot, Tibetan Thin, Sumak, Handloom and Handloom X.

PLATINUM – Our most exclusive hand knotted rugs, labeled with a platinum coloured leather lable:

PERSIAN KNOT – PLATINUM 8/40 (75% New Zeeland wool, 25% Tencel™).  These rugs have the most dense knotting, about 122 000 knots per m² and are highly suitable for applying a design or pattern.  The pile is cut very delicate and the height is approximately 23–25 mm.

OUR OTHER HAND KNOTTED RUGS

TIBETHAN THIN – Made slightly thinner than the Tibetan and with a shorter pile. It is made from either 100% New Zealand wool with a cut out pattern or a pattern in a Tencel™/wool blend. The blend gives the carpet a beautiful luster and shine.

SUMAK – An ancient knotted technique with a braided look with a raised pile pattern. 100% wool (New Zealand and fine Indian wool mix) is used.

HANDLOOM – Handloom carpets are meticulously woven on traditional looms, creating a refined, seamless surface with exceptional durability.

HANDLOOM X – An elevated handloom construction with added thickness and depth, offering a richer texture, enhanced comfort, and a distinctly luxurious feel.
