Rose is a beautiful, hand-tufted rug designed by the design duo Broberg & Ridderstråle for ASPLUND Collection. The base is in 100% New Zealand wool and the pattern is in a Tencel® blend.

The design duo wanted to create a modern interpretation of a classic floral pattern. They went to a florist and bought lots of roses, then climbed a tall ladder into the studio and threw the rose petals onto a large white sheet. Over and over again, the petals were thrown until the perfect pattern emerged, which is what you see on the rug.
