Golden Section is a square, hand-tufted rug designed by the trio Claesson Koivisto Rune for Asplund Collection. The rug is made of 100% high-quality New Zealand wool that is rich in natural fats, which gives the rug a natural luster while providing good protection against stains. The rug’s pattern is inspired by the golden ratio, hence the name Golden Section.

Claesson Koivisto Rune is a Swedish architecture and design firm founded in 1995 by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune. They started as an architectural office but have developed into an international studio with equal focus on both architecture and design. Together with ASPLUND, they have designed the popular furniture series Vass and Oblique as well as the candlesticks Grace, in addition to Kilt.
