Hand Woven Carpets

Our handwoven carpets are crafted by skilled artisans on traditional flat looms in small villages along the Ganges River in India. Each piece reflects generations of craftsmanship, where technique, material and pattern come together in a distinctive expression.

The character of each carpet is defined by the quality of the wool and the patterns either woven into or carefully stitched onto the surface.

Kelim carpets (Mini Flag), woven with a wool warp, have a rich and slightly lustrous foundation. They are made using time-honoured techniques of Anatolian origin, resulting in a soft yet durable textile with a timeless aesthetic.

Dhurrie carpets (Star and Stitch) are also produced using traditional, nomadic weaving methods. In contrast to Kelims, they feature a cotton warp, giving them a slightly firmer structure and a more lightweight, crisp feel.
