NEWS 2026

We are excited to show our 2026 news and updated collection.

Over the years, ASPLUND has continuously strived to balance the fine line between art and functional design. For our 2026 collection, we welcome a series of developments and innovations, celebrating timeless design.

New Developments – ASPLUND Carpets

Textiles play a central role in ASPLUND’s presentation this year. ASPLUND Carpets enters a new phase following extensive development and refinement, with new releases shaped directly through close customer dialogue. The updates reflect evolving expectations around comfort, material quality, and long-term use across both residential and contract environments.

The carpet series Books & Floors by Emma Olbers presents a lighter, more adaptable version of Biblioteket, originally designed for the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm (2019). The collection consists of three tactile, hand-drawn designs: one inspired by books, one by floorboards—customized to nearly any size—and a third that merges both expressions into a single composition.

Designer Marie-Louise Hellgren introduces two new developments based on earlier ASPLUND designs: Wedge Origami, a white cut-pile carpet with a geometric, origami-inspired expression, and Wedge XL, now produced in a new, highly durable natural yarn suitable for more heavy-use areas.

Furniture Highlights

Material honesty and longevity are also expressed through furniture updates. The IRIS Table by Daniel Lavonius Jarefeldt is now presented in an all–solid oak version, available in three colours that emphasise craftsmanship, durability, and timeless character. The Lucca coffee table is now also available entirely in solid oakwood.
